It is the 5th limiting amino acid in the pig feed and is a BCAA (branched-chain amino acid) such as isoleucine and leucine.
L-valine is an aminoacid of maximized purification (at least 98% on dry matter) that is being produced by fermentation (biological process)
Lack of valine is known that causes defects in animal nervous systems.
